Mindfulness is a very simple form of meditation during which one is focusing the attention on ones breath. There are still thoughts arising but little by little one is letting go the struggle with them. The thoughts neven stop coming up, but at a certain point one is able to choose whether to act on them or not.

During the proces of mindfulness meditation one is able to catch negative thought patterns before they get him or her into a downward spiral. Mindfulness allows one to take control of his or her life.

If one continues doing mindfulness one will sens changes in mood and levels of happiness and wellbeing.
